The lecture draws attention to the successful stories using big data or linked databases in doing cardiovascular research and the construction of the national cardiovascular big data platform at which she is currently dedicated to. This big data platform will aggregate clinical data generated at community health centres, ambulance and hospitals, administrative data from first page of in-hospital patients chart, surveillance and health insurance data.
